TERMS & CONDITIONS
UNBOUND — Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the UNBOUND programme, website, and related services operated by [Your Full Name / Trading Name] (“we”, “us”, “UNBOUND”) at getunbound.co.uk.
By purchasing or engaging with any UNBOUND product or service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About UNBOUND
UNBOUND is a structured recovery programme for adult men dealing with compulsive pornography use and compulsive sexual behaviour. It brings together proven recovery traditions - accountability, confession, community, the kind of honesty that only comes from sitting with other men who understand - and modern addiction psychology: neuroscience, trauma work, and clinical frameworks.
UNBOUND operates across several distinct services. The nature of each service, and the relationship it creates between you and UNBOUND, differs. It is important that you understand which service you are engaging with. These are set out in full in Section 3.
2. Eligibility
To use UNBOUND you must:
• Be aged 18 or over
• Be accessing the programme voluntarily, for your own recovery
• Agree to these Terms in full
Some services have additional eligibility requirements, set out in Section 3. If you are unsure whether UNBOUND is suitable for you, please contact us before purchasing.
3. Services
3.1 Self-Guided Course
This is a self-help education product. It is not therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment.
The Self-Guided Course is a 12-week structured educational programme delivered via online video content and written workbook materials. It is designed to be completed independently, at your own pace.
What is included:
• 12 weeks of video and written course content
• Downloadable workbook materials
• Lifetime access to the course content you have purchased
• Access to a private WhatsApp group for educational discussion and peer support (see Section 3.3)
What is not included:
• Any live sessions, calls, or direct contact with the programme founder
• Any form of individual clinical or therapeutic support
The Self-Guided Course is an educational resource. Completing it does not create any therapeutic, clinical, or professional relationship between you and UNBOUND or its founder. It is not a substitute for professional mental health assessment or treatment.
3.2 Group Cohort
This is a structured group education programme. It is not group therapy or clinical group work.
The Group Cohort delivers the same 12-week curriculum as the Self-Guided Course, with the addition of a cohort structure — you move through the programme alongside a group of other men on the same journey.
What is included:
• Full access to the 12-week course content
• Downloadable workbook materials
• Access to a private WhatsApp group for educational discussion and peer support shared with your cohort (see Section 3.3)
What is not included:
• Live calls, video check-ins, or facilitated group sessions
• Direct one-to-one contact with the programme founder
• Any form of individual or group clinical or therapeutic support
The Group Cohort is an educational programme. Participation does not create any therapeutic, clinical, or professional relationship between you and UNBOUND or its founder.
3.3 The UNBOUND Private WhatsApp Group
Participants in both the Self-Guided Course and Group Cohort tiers are invited to join a private WhatsApp group. The purpose of this group is educational: to share insights from the programme, ask questions about the course content, and offer peer encouragement.
The WhatsApp group is not a therapeutic space. It is not monitored in real time and should not be used for crisis support. If you are in crisis, please refer to the crisis resources provided in your course materials and on our website.
By joining the WhatsApp group you agree to:
• Use the group for educational discussion and peer support only
• Treat all other group members with respect and confidentiality
• Not share the content of the group outside of it
• Not use the group to seek individual clinical advice or crisis support
We reserve the right to remove any participant from the WhatsApp group whose conduct is harmful to other members or inconsistent with the purpose of the group.
3.4 One-to-One Sessions
One-to-one sessions with the UNBOUND founder are delivered in a clinical capacity.
The founder is a qualified psychotherapist with clinical professional indemnity insurance. One-to-one sessions constitute a clinical relationship and are subject to the professional and ethical standards of that clinical role.
This is a different relationship from the self-guided course or group cohort. You will be provided with clear written confirmation of this clinical relationship before your first session.
One-to-one sessions are individual sessions conducted between you and the programme founder in his capacity as a qualified psychotherapist. These sessions are informed by the UNBOUND framework but operate as a clinical service.
What this means for you:
• You are entering a clinical relationship governed by professional therapeutic standards
• The founder holds appropriate clinical professional indemnity insurance covering this work
• You will receive a written agreement before your first session confirming the nature of the clinical relationship, its scope, and the limits of confidentiality
• The ethical obligations that apply to clinical practice — including confidentiality, duty of care, and professional conduct — apply in full
• Sessions are conducted in accordance with relevant professional codes of ethics and practice
One-to-one sessions are not included in the Self-Guided Course or Group Cohort tiers. They are purchased separately and are subject to availability.
If you have questions about what one-to-one sessions involve before purchasing, please contact us at [your@email.com].
3.5 Church and Pastoral Services
This service is provided to churches, pastoral teams, and ministry organisations — not to individuals seeking personal recovery support.
It does not constitute therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment for any individual.
UNBOUND offers a service to churches and faith communities who wish to understand and respond to compulsive sexual behaviour among their congregation or wider community. This service is educational and advisory in nature.
What this service includes:
• Talks and presentations delivered to church congregations, leadership teams, or pastoral staff — covering the nature of compulsive sexual behaviour, the recovery process, and how churches can respond well
• Pastoral consultancy: advice to church leaders and pastoral teams on how to integrate recovery education into their existing pastoral ministry
• Guidance on how to refer individuals appropriately to professional support, including the UNBOUND programme
• Support for churches developing their own internal approach to this issue
What this service does not include:
• Individual clinical assessment or therapeutic support for congregation members
• Ongoing pastoral care or counselling of individuals on behalf of the church
• The exercise of any pastoral authority or spiritual leadership role within your church
The founder of UNBOUND is not acting as a pastor, minister, or spiritual director through this service. He is acting as an educator and consultant, drawing on his clinical background and experience of working in this field.
Churches engaging this service do so on the basis that they retain responsibility for the pastoral care of their own congregation. UNBOUND’s role is to equip and advise, not to substitute for that pastoral relationship.
Engagements under this service are subject to a separate written agreement. Pricing and scope are agreed in advance. Please contact us at [your@email.com] to discuss your church’s specific needs.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials for your own recovery. No other use is permitted without written consent.
Churches and organisations engaging the church and pastoral service may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt UNBOUND materials without separate written agreement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• The Self-Guided Course and Group Cohort are educational products. UNBOUND is not liable for your outcomes or recovery progress arising from these tiers.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of any UNBOUND service
• Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant service
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
One-to-one sessions are covered by the professional indemnity insurance held by the founder in his clinical capacity. Concerns about the conduct of one-to-one sessions may be escalated to the relevant professional body.
Churches and organisations engaging the pastoral consultancy service are responsible for the decisions they make in response to the advice and guidance provided. UNBOUND is not liable for outcomes arising from how a church chooses to apply that advice within its own pastoral practice.
9. Safeguarding and Duty of Care
Where we become aware that any individual may be at risk of serious harm to themselves or others, we reserve the right — and in some circumstances have a legal obligation — to take action. This is described in full in our Confidentiality Policy at getunbound.co.uk/confidentiality.
UNBOUND is not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Changes will be published at getunbound.co.uk/terms with an updated date. Continued use of any UNBOUND service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
